CERV has been assisting families throughout Northfield for over 20 years. We take pride in helping those in need. We work on a Volunteer basis with donations from people, Churches and businesses in our community.
Mission
CERV is committed to helping the local community of Northfield, Vermont. All in need are welcomed;
supported by volunteers is what makes this program possible.
Financial Assistance
The majority of CERV's annual budget is used to stock the food shelf. The balance is disbursed to eligible families to meet emergency needs for winter fuel and utilities. CERV's policies require that the families show need and limits are established restricting the total amounts disbursed, in order to ensure the availability of help to the greatest number of people in the area.
